My experience is that the wording that is used in an interface can have enormous impact on how usable it is.  The choice of words within one digital application is often not the problem, as long as it’s consistent. The problem lies in the fact that there is no consensus on how certain actions are named. Each term has a different feeling so I can imagine the the context can have a certain influence on how you label certain interactions, but the problem with that is that the user will not be really sire on what he’s doing, and this is a problem. The moment someone feels lost; the copywriter was too creative.
